So ladies and gents here are a few tips that I came across through being able to work with the world renowned Queen Afua, for Youthful & Vibrant Skin. I'm 25 and still get the ocassional pimple but the worse is the dark marks that are left behind. They are very difficult to get rid of especially when you are taking the natural route. I have been strictly vegan for about three years now. I do believe the answer is internal cleansing and keeping up with it monthly.
Vitamin B Complex - Liquid or powder form (goes straight into the blood stream) 100mg morning, noon, and night, with liquid of choice.
Greens - All types; don't forget vegetable proteins such as alfalfa, sprouts, and broccoli. Steam vegetables for no longer than 5 minutes. Do not apply oil while you are cooking apply them after. Cooking with oil clogs the arteries.
Lemons/Limes - Helps to get plaque out of the arteries. Drink lemons or limes with warm water, you can also add organic apple cider vinegar. For all over skin care you can take a lemon bath adding 2 to 3 lemons or limes juiced into the bathwater. With organic lemons or limes, you can just let them float in the water with the skin on. While in the bath take a loofah or skin brush scrubbing upward, this helps to get poisons out of skin.
Air Foods - Scallions, Red Radishes, Onions, and Garlic, allow more oxygen to move throughout the body. Kyolic, which is liquid garlic can be taken with water using 12 drops.
My facial regime as of now:
Baking Soda- I make into a paste with water and spread onto my skin, it is great for drying up pimples and reducing dark marks, at a very cheap cost.
Organic Apple Cider Vinegar - Though it has that stinky feet smell it is a wonderful toner after washing. It shrinks pores, brings back moisture and ph balance as well as sloughing off dead skin, for a cleaner, spot free face. If you can't take the smell I suggest using the toner at bedtime.
OCM - (Oil Cleansing Method) My mixture contains Grapeseed Oil 50% and Castor Oil 50%. I rub this mixture on my face massaging the skin and relaxing while I do it. Using hot steam from a pot or my facial steamer I bask in the warmth for 15 min., more or less until my skin has taken on a good sweat. With a clean washcloth you remove the oil, sweat, dead skin, dirt, and water else was clogging those pores. After wiping 2-3 times, I rinse with cool water, and tone with the ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar).
Eating As Clean As You Can - Last but not least, I try to drink lots of distilled water, consume dark leafy greens daily, fruits, and detox with herbs.
